Holistic Cures is another hair electronics brand that I feel like I’ve heard about I have their straightening iron (old model from 2018) and am happy with it, although I don’t have many points of reference to compare it to. I’m less familiar with straightening/curling irons, but I think the brands above are well known for hair styling devices in general. Unfortunately I ended up going with Dyson, so I can’t offer my opinion on any of them, although I think I’ve used the blow dryers from ReFa and Nanocare (or maybe just Nanocare) at hotels and they did seem nice. Panasonic’s Nanocare series, from a major household electronics company.I also hear about their Hairbeauron series for straightening and curling irons. ReFa, who I mostly knew of for their facial rollers but are a well-known high-end beauty tool brand in general. When I did my research at that point, the contenders were from the following brands (exact models may have been updated since, and other brands might also be popular now): I live in Japan and I was in the market for a high-quality blow dryer a couple of years ago. +All three of the tools don't take long to heat up However the curling iron is my favorite because it's really smooth when trying to make those S curl like waves/curls and what I use almost daily when styling my hair. The hair waver is also good, doesn't make the curls too tight (I bought this one mainly because I saw Song Jia uses this and I wanted her hairstyle). I bought it mainly because it has Free Voltage so the voltage worked in both US/Korea when I went (US Plug from Amazon US) The straightener is good (works like every other straightener I've had so didn't find it really special but wasn't bad either ~ worked as expected so if you're in the market for a straightener I would check it out. When I was in Seoul, I saw a lot of Vodana curling irons/straightener when I went into those self-serve photobooths that let you touch up your appearance before taking photos.
